I actually like the rhythm in that tune but I think it was a little too slickly produced to attempt live.

The lyrics are pretty much dum dum stuff . Not some of Hunter's best...
We get "France, dance, romance" ,rhymes . Surprised he didn't use "pants".. As I the " There's a place in France, where the ladies wear no pants " .
This song makes "Leave The Little Girl Alone" , seem like T.S. Elliot .
It is credited to "Hart, Hunter", Weir" ( move over Lennon-Mccartney...) which might explain the rhythm you mention .
